The B-MAX measures just over 4 metres (158-in.) in length that makes it 110mm longer than the Fiesta five-door hatchback upon which it is based but 320mm shorter than the new C-MAX.

Barrage of New Videos Detailing the Ford B-MAX Small Minivan Inside and Out

The way Ford's going on with it, there won't actually be much to reveal about its brand-new B-MAX at next week's 82nd Geneva International Auto Show.

If you follow the break, you'll find an assortment of videos along with a few new pictures, all shot during the presentation of the Fiesta-based MPV at the Mobile World Congress 2012, which took place in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this week.

The new B-MAX will hit European showrooms this September offering buyers a selection of diesel and petrol engines, including the firm's brand-new 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline unit available in two states of tune, with 99HP (100PS) and 123HP (125PS).

Ford Shows the Merits of the B-MAX's Pillarless Design

Another day, another round of photos of the new Ford B-MAX. This time, the Blue Oval enlisted the help of one of its European designers, Erika Tsubaki, to demonstrate the advantages of the hidden pillars and sliding doors when it comes to accessing the small MPV's interior at its UK unveiling in London today.

Ford managed to do away with the central pillars by reinforcing the rear-hinged doors, which are made of special ultra-high-strength steels providing up to five times the strength of conventional mild steel.

Ford Drops Another Picture of B-MAX, Says it will Debut the MPV at the Mobile World Congress

While the all-new B-MAX will be introduced to the automotive world at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on March 6, its actual world premiere will take place at a very different event at the end of this month.

Ford revealed today that the company's executive chairman Bill Ford will unveil the sub-compact MPV on February 27 at the 2012 Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona, Spain.

The Blue Oval notes that it is the first automaker ever to present a new car at the leading mobile industry event, and all for good reason – or so it claims – as the B-MAX will debut feature several mobile technologies.

New 2012 Ford B-MAX Opens Up to Us, Shows its Sliding Doors

Ford continues the slow strip tease of its all-new B-MAX small MPV prior to the production model's grand premier at the 82nd Geneva International Auto Salon in the beginning of March.

This time we get a full-blown photo of the B-MAX's innovative hinged front doors and sliding rear doors that integrate the central body pillars, which Ford called "Easy Access Doors".

The design allows for 1.5-metre (close to 5 feet) wide unobstructed openings on either side of the B-segment multi-activity vehicle.

Ford Says New B-MAX is Best In-Class when it Comes to Fuel Economy and CO2 Emissions

Since we are getting closer to next month's Geneva Motor Show, Ford wanted to share more details on its all-new B-MAX, and more specifically to brag about its fuel consumption and CO2 emission ratings, which the Blue Oval says bring it to the top of its class.

When equipped with the 1.6-liter TDI diesel that produces 95PS (94hp), the new B-MAX delivers 4.0 lt/100km (70.6mpg UK or 58.8mpg US) and CO2 emissions of 104g/km. This compares to between 109 and 119 g/km CO2 and between 4.1 and 4.6 lt/100km for the Ford model's chief (diesel-powered) rivals, which include the Opel Meriva, Citroen C3 Picasso and Renault Modus.

All-New Ford B-MAX: First Official Photo of Small MPV Released Ahead of Geneva

Less than one year after Ford showed the B-MAX study at the Geneva Salon, the Blue Oval unwrapped the final production model of its new entry in the European small MPV segment. The official presentation will once again take place at the Geneva Motor Show this March

The transition from concept to production has not brought any significant changes to the design of the Fiesta-based model, but that was something we expected given that last year's model was more showcar than pure concept.

From the single picture released by Ford, we can see that the production B-MAX lost the chrome grille trim (though we wouldn't be surprised if we saw it on a higher grade model) and gained a set of visible door handles.

Ford Focus gets New 1.0-liter Turbo EcoBoost with up to 123HP in Europe, Replaces 1.6-liter Units

Ford continues to downsize its engines in order to reduce consumption and lower CO2 emissions with the presentation of a brand-new 1.0-liter, three-cylinder EcoBoost petrol unit on its Focus family car range in Europe.

The new turbocharged engine replaces the naturally aspirated 1.6-liter petrol and is available with two power levels, the first of which produces 99HP (100PS) and delivers 58.9mpg UK (4.8lt/100km or 49mpg US) with 109g/km of CO2 emissions in the five door Focus.

SCOOP: We Snag 2012 Ford B-MAX Small MPV's Interior

As Ford continues to test the upcoming 2012 B-MAX small MPV, our spies are getting closer to the prototype models revealing more details about the company's Honda Jazz/Fit and Citroen C3 Picasso rival.

This time, they were able to snap a photo of the car's interior confirming our hypothesis that only a few minor things will change over the concept model we first saw at the Geneva Salon earlier this year.

Spied: 2013 Ford B-MAX Small MPV Based on Fiesta Starts Taking Shape

Ford is putting the final development touches on the production version of its Fiesta-based B-MAX small MPV that was snagged with a funky color scheme and very few parts covered up while testing in Europe.

The subtle camouflage does little to hide the fact that the B-MAX's design is very close to the original concept displayed at the Geneva Salon earlier this year right up to the sliding rear-doors.

The only noteworthy changes over the Blue Oval's concept study concern the addition of door handles and the much smaller alloy wheel and tire combos. From these pictures, we can't be sure if Ford has equipped the tall five-door model with B-pillars.
