Audi Goes all Twilight Style with its New Super Bowl XLVI Ads


We got our first taste of Audi's new Super Bowl XLVI with a teaser clip earlier today but now the German company has unlocked the full commercial for our viewing pleasure ahead of the big game on February 5.

We are not sure if Audi is planning more ads as the BMW E28 we saw jumping into a billboard in the preview clip is absent from the 60-second long commercial that revolves around a pack of 20-something vampires who are killed from the new 2013 Audi S7's ultra-bright LED headlamps.

Audi Teases Oddball Super Bowl XLVI Commercial with Tree Climbing Vampires


Some Super Bowl commercials hit the spot while others fall flatter than a pancake. We can't say yet in which of the two categories Audi's upcoming Super Bowl XLVI ad will fall into as we only have a short teaser of the 60-second long clip that will run during the first quarter of the big game on Sunday, February 5.

We can say, however, that while we found the scene with the BMW 5-Series E28 jumping into a billboard that reads "The Moose is Loose" interesting, we're not so sure about the overplayed vampires-climbing-trees theme shown towards the end of the commercial.

According to Audi, the ad will revolve around the brand’s signature LED headlights as well as the 2013 S7 Sportback. For now, head past the jump to watch the teaser clip.

Audi Reveals New S7 Sportback with 420HP Bi-Turbo V8



When the doors open to the 64th IAA International Motor Show on the September 13, Audi will hold the world premiere of the all-new S7 Sportback.

The most potent member of the A7 Sportback family to date debuts a new 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged TFSI V8 engine that will also find its way under the hood of a variety of VW Group models including Audi's own S6 and even Bentley's Continental series.
