Canadian Trucker gets the Fright of His Life When Oncoming 18-Wheeler Rolls Over [NSFW]

Some of the scariest situations on the road are usually the ones we have no control over, like when a massive 18-wheeler lorry flips over on a turn and is heading straight towards your vehicle.

As luck would have it, this Canadian truck driver was offered a split second to make a quick move and avoid a potentially fatal crash.

You can enjoy and if you wish, comment on the spot made for BMW Canada in the video that follows below the break.

Japanese Owner Finds Lost Harley Davidson from 2011 Tsunami Washed Out on Canadian Beach!

What are the odds of finding a motorcycle that was washed away during the horrific tsunami that hit Japan's northeast coasts on March 2011? Near impossible, you say? You are probably right, yet that "one in a million" chance happened to a Japanese man who lost his Harley-Davidson motorcycle more than a year ago.

The bike turned up in a makeshift container some 5,000 kilometers (3,100 miles) across the Pacific Ocean on a Canadian beach!

On April 18, 2012, Peter Mark from Canada was riding his ATV, exploring an isolated beach in British Columbia's Graham Island when he came across an open white trailer that had washed out from sea

Upon closer inspection, Mark saw a rusted motorcycle with Japanese license plates along with a few more objects such as golf clubs, tools and camping equipment lying around in the container.

"The door was ripped off it and I could see a motorcycle tire sticking out," he told CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Cooperation). "So I went closer and looked inside and saw a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. It defies all logic. I cannot for the life of me figure out how that stuff stayed in there. The motorcycle was not strapped down. Everything was just laying loose on the bottom of the floor."

Taxi Driver Runs Over a Man After Being Attacked in Montreal [Warning Graphic Content]

What started out as a war of words between a 47-year old taxi driver and a 23-year old passenger quickly escalated to a hit-and-run incident that took place in Montreal, Canada, around 4 am this past Sunday, April 29.

Canada's Ottawacitizen identified the cab driver as Guercy Edmond, 47, of Laval, and the young man as Benoit Kapelli, 23.

The police have yet to determine what caused the conflict though at least two separate eyewitnesses recorded the incident on film. According to the first person that videotaped the scene, it all started when for unknown reasons a passenger slammed the door of the Toyota Camry cab.

"It began with one of the passengers slamming the door to the cab too hard on exiting the cab," wrote YouTube user Ilaneloc.

"Cab driver jumped out and confronted him on the sidewalk while the other passengers remained inside to pay. I left the scene as the verbal conflict escalated, presuming it would run itself out... I returned home to hear the commotion outside, where the conflict had escalated and the cab driver was aiming his cab in the wrong direction down St-Laurent towards the former passengers," explained Ilaneloc.

Mitsubishi to Sell New Mirage in Canada, Pondering U.S. Launch

The new Mitsubishi Mirage sub-compact model has been officially confirmed for Canada while the Japanese automaker is also contemplating the launch of the five-door hatchback in the U.S.

According to Mitsubishi's annual presentation on full-year sales and financial results for the fiscal year 2011 that ended on March 31, 2012, the Mirage will go on sale in North America in the first quarter of 2013 (FY2012/4Q).

Mitsubishi spokesperson Roger Yasukawa told Autonews that the Mirage will be sold in Canada but noted that U.S. sales are still "under consideration" and that "it's still 50-50 right now".

There are a couple of reasons why Mitsubishi is holding back on its decision over the U.S. launch of the Mirage, the first being its tight marketing budget as the company plans to introduce the new Outlander.

Chevrolet Orlando Proves it's a Man's Car, Fits 11 Canadians in its Trunk

His name is Bond, Phillipe Bond, and from what we gather, he is licensed by General Motors Canada to do just about anything to promote the Chevrolet brand's products.

After receiving a body wax from a Chevrolet Sonic, the French Canadian artist from Quebec tried something a little more intense for his second sketch. Once again, Bond was dressed in a speedo, but this time, he had to oil up and get into the trunk of a Chevrolet Orlando minivan (not offered in the States) with 11 more men.

You'll find the video right past the jump.

Canada's SR Auto Gives the Scion iQ Some Attitude

According to Canadian design house SR Auto Group, just because the Scion-ized Toyota iQ is the world's smallest four seater, doesn't mean it shouldn't look the part as well. With this in mind, it gave birth to the Project Pryzm.

"This iQ was titled with the name Project Pryzm because of its sharp and boxy exterior," says SR Auto. "The objective behind Project Pryzm was to create a car that would leave you speechless."

The tuner started out with the iQ's exterior that gains a comprehensive styling kit from Japan's Premier 4509, which you may remember from the Bentley-faced Toyota Supra tune.
